About Me

Hello! I'm an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. I currently teach introductory management accounting.

I specialize in the fields of management accounting and behavioral economics. My research examines how managers use information to make decisions about employees, as well as the implications of those decisions. Specific topics include job promotions, measure weighting, incentives, and the responsible management of human capital. I primarily use laboratory, online, and field experiments in my work.

I earned a B.S. in accounting and M.Acc. from Brigham Young University, and a Ph.D. in accounting from Emory University.
