About Me
Hello! I'm an assistant professor of accounting in the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
I specialize in the fields of management accounting and behavioral economics. My research examines how managers use information to make decisions about employees, as well as the implications of those decisions. Specific topics include job promotions, measure weighting, incentives, and the responsible management of human capital.
I earned a B.S. in accounting and M.Acc. from Brigham Young University, and a Ph.D. in accounting from Emory University. I have prior experience working as a finance manager in the nonprofit sector.
